"Auzzie" after his Craniosacral treatment (June 2018)

I wanted to let you know that Alfie was SO chilled for days after his treatment!! I took him out for his first affiliated dressage competition the following week and he was so chilled and lovely... and we won!!

Equine Craniosacral Therapy

You expect a lot from your horse and they give you a lot back. However the way we keep them and what we expect from them can put demands on their body which can take its tole over time.

Craniosacral Therapy can help resolve a lot of these demands and relax your horse to a place where tension and stress have been eased and released, leaving you with a more supple and energised horse (this photo shows how relaxed your horse will be after a treatment)!

Craniosacral Therapy is a non-invasive non-manipulative light touch body treatment. As a practitioner I use light contact on specific parts of the horses body, mainly on the spinal areas and around the head (cranium) but I will make contact with other areas too.

A horse has a complex anatomy and nervous system which can easily get damaged or become stressed. Craniosacral Therapy supports the body’s own healing mechanisms as restrictions in the horses musculoskeletal system and fascia are released. Horses are a classic ‘fight and flight’ animal so relaxing their nervous system is the key to their general well-being and health.

Examples of what CST can help with:

Hock or stifle issues, back problems, head shaking, head injuries and traumas, lameness, TMJ/TMD (tempromandibular joint dysfunction), unexplained behaviour – bucking, refusing, rearing, shying, spookiness, difficulty in making transitions, grinding teeth or difficulty chewing food.

Or why not just give your horse some general TLC?
